to be valid for all patients in the world. This declaration includes the
relationship between the patient and the doctor in general terms.
- The patient has the right to choose
his/her doctor freely.
- Every individual who applies to the
hospital to receive healthcare has the right to benefit from all the services
without distinction of any kind, such as religion, language, or race.
- The patient has the right to be
examined by a doctor who can make clinical and ethical decisions without being prejudiced
by someone else and of his/her own free will.
- The patient has the right to accept
or reject the recommended treatment after he/she is informed adequately.
- The patient has the right to be
respected for the confidentiality of all the medical information and
information of his/her private life.
- The patient has the right to demand the
confidentiality of the content of his/her personal information, health status,
diagnostic and treatment process, or private visits.
- The patient has the right to fulfill
the religious duty in accordance with the facilities of the place where he/she
receives healthcare, and as long as it does not interfere with the treatment.
- The patient has the right to receive
healthcare in a sincere atmosphere.
- The patient has the right to get a
medical second opinion in any phase of the treatment.
- The patient has the right to receive
a visitor or an attendant in accordance with the procedures and principles set
out.
- The patient has the right to benefit
from healthcare constantly.
